THREADS
COMMENTER
A Chrome extension that finds posts by your keywords on its own, picks out the suitable ones and writes meaningful comments on them. It works right on the Threads page, from your ordinary account.
This is a separate tool — don’t confuse it with our Threads AI. That one publishes its own posts through the official interface. This one works with other people’s posts, which the official interface doesn’t allow at all.
A comment under someone else’s post brings people in better than your own post published into an empty room.
Why you’d want this
A new account has no reach. You can publish into the void for months. Comments solve the problem from the other side: you go where the audience has already gathered and say something worth reading. People read the thread, see a sensible remark and click through to the profile.
The problem is that by hand this takes hours: find the posts, read them, decide whether they’re worth answering, write something that isn’t banal. The extension takes exactly that routine off you.
How it works
- It searches for posts by the keywords you set, through the Threads search.
- It opens each post and reads what’s in it.
- It filters out the rest. You describe in your own words which posts you need — «about investing and passive income», for instance. The neural network reads the post and answers whether it fits. If it doesn’t, we move on and no comment gets spent.
- It writes a comment on the substance of that specific post, not a template.
- It imitates a human: types letter by letter and pauses between actions.
This is the most useful part. Searching for the keyword «investing» brings back a mountain of junk, from news to complaints. Without filtering, the bot comments on everything indiscriminately, and it shows from a mile away. The filter discards the irrelevant beforea comment ever gets written.
A technical detail we’re proud of
The extension works through navigation: feed, post, back to feed. The page reloads on every transition, and an ordinary script dies right there — the state is lost. Here the task is restored after every transition, so the cycle never breaks.
The same thing produced a non-obvious bug we had to fix separately: the «Stop» button sometimes got lost during a transition, and the bot managed a couple more iterations after being told to stop. Now the stop signal is duplicated in a second storage that survives navigation, and it’s checked at several points in the cycle. It stops immediately.
Settings
- Keywords to search by.
- A description of the posts you want, for the meaning filter.
- Instructions for the comments — tone, length, what to mention and what to avoid.
- Delays between actions and a comment limit per session.
- Choice of neural network: primary or fallback.
How it’s used
The task: we’re promoting an account about home renovation. There’s no reach of our own yet, so we go where people are already discussing renovation.
You install the extension
You unpack the folder and load it in the browser on the extensions page. You log into your Threads account as usual — the extension works under your name, no separate logins needed.
You set the keywords
You write which queries to search posts by. The extension runs them through the Threads search and collects fresh publications.

You describe the posts you want
The most important step. In your own words you explain which posts suit you. The neural network reads every post it finds and answers whether it fits — the irrelevant gets filtered out before any comment is written.
Want: people planning a renovation or
asking for advice on finishing work.
Don't want: market news, ads, memes.
Post: «looking for a crew, who's had a full fit-out done?» YES
Post: «apartment prices are up 12%» NOYou write the instructions for comments
You set the tone, the length and the boundaries: what to mention, what to avoid, whether to sell openly or not. The whole quality of the work depends on this instruction.
Short, 2-3 sentences. To the point, like a tradesman with experience. No ads and no links. Don't start with the words «great post».
You launch it and watch
The extension runs a cycle: it finds a post, opens it, checks it against the filter, writes a comment with simulated typing and returns to the feed. It holds the delays you set between actions.
Post: «looking for a crew, who's had a full fit-out done?»
Comment:
The main thing is to ask for an itemized quote, not one
lump sum. And put the deadlines in the contract as a
separate clause, or the job will drag on for six months. You count the result
You stop it at any moment with the button — the signal arrives immediately, even if the extension happens to be moving between pages at that second. After that you look at how many people came into the profile.

Posting goes through the official interface. Commenting goes through the browser.
